I want to make a game that plays like a 3rd person shooter but you're in command of a squad of soldiers. When you press the primary fire button they all fire simultaneously. Squad health isn't determined with a healthbar but by the actual size of the squad. If you have 10 troops and one gets killed you have 9 troops.
There would be a cover mechanic similar to dawn of war 2 where you command them to find cover and they sort themselves out based on where the camera is facing.

This is all to say, it's too fucking complicated for a single person, especially for an ideas guy like myself. Making a 2D pixel sidescroller with 10 levels would take me a year. Making a 3D 3rd person shooter with cover mechanics and NPC controlled movement is impossible.

My only bet is to make a 3D animation using blender, make a fake trailer, and hope someone bites and offers to make it.

The most recent examples are Cruelty Squad and Pizza tower.
The top 2 are Minecraft and Undertale, both devs were long time anons and both mentioned this place directly on Twitter.

There's more, way more. Anons who make games here have the best taste, and make the best games.
