In the event Superman 2025 does well next month, do you think WB will finally greenlight a proper Superman game that could rival the Batman Arkham series? Would the rumors of SONY buying WB Games be a good or a bad thing for such projects?

It's not a proper Supes game if it doesn't spend a lot of time as Clark Kent.

That would work as a telltale game

I would think that like Insomniac Spider-Man you would have Clark segments for the sake of pacing. That and it might be fun to see him snoop around as a reporter, subtly using his powers to get information regarding a bigger problem.

Personal opinion; TellTale games suck. There's no replay value for me

You faggots complained about every little detail with Cavill’s operation. How the hell is combat supposed to work? Sounds like anytime someone says they want a Superman game they just want a flying simulator.

It's pretty simple
>In combat Superman and enemies don't go through building walls, merely crater/crack them upon impact. The exception is scripted cinematic sequences between arenas and cutscenes of course
>When a fight starts, citizens flee the scene and abandon their cars. When Superman picks up a car for melee/to throw, he usually says a line like "Sorry, I need to borrow this!"
>Make it a side mission/offhand dialogue stating that any collateral damage repair is charity funded by The Justice League.

red faction guerilla came out in 2009, anon. the technology for a fully destructible city is absolutely there, devs just don't want to make a fully destructive city because it turns out it's hard to have good level design when the player can just smash through literally any part of the level

And to think, Suicide Squad Kills The Justice League was built from the assets of a cancelled Superman game

It's a fundamental aspect of the character, while it doesn't have to derail the storyline for forced stealth segments it should absolutely be there.

How do you balance his powers for a game similar to Arkham and Spider-man
No way regular thugs are gonna hurt Superman

There are plenty of ways to hurt Superman, even without the various forms of Kryptonite
>Red Sun Energy will weaken him to normal human level
>High voltage electrical attacks hurt him due to his nervous system
>Sensory overload such as light and sound can disorient or even harm him
>Like most people, Superman has no natural defenses against magic items or magic spells
>Susceptible to psychic mind control or mental based attacks
>High levels of radiation can harm him and deplete his solar cells

Also keep in mind that if the tech is advanced enough, be it alien or from the future, it can most certainly harm Superman. Such examples cited would be Brainiac or The Fatal Five
