It could be worse. It could be an FPS that has a rather stable 20k players a day two years after a launch, and only recently went full jew-mode on its microtransactions.

Sucks, since I fucking love World Tour & Power Shift modes in it, since nothing else plays like it in the gaming industry.

CoD sucks and it's one of the reasons why arena shooters are dead. CoD while being an arena shooter technically introduced milisim elements to the genre with fast TTK and progression/customization systems. Low skill players can get cheap kills with fast TTK that's why it's so popular.

I was already pretty burnt out from splitgate 1 after 66 and a half hours, then the sequel had multiple flaws that stood out

At least they added Team Deathmatch last season. 5v5 in an enclosed portion of the map really shows off the destruction, where most of the map is a pile of debris by the end of the round. Decent mode for letting me practice weapons since it's pretty casual. I'm still pissed at the devs for adding a real-money-only tier to the battle pass though. The game's monetization for a f2p was very fair until two weeks ago.
