It looks pretty and I picked it up and was excited to check it out because my sister and her husband (big gamers) praised it to no end), I put a ton of hours into it and I did genuinely have fun in the beginning, but I never finished the game and don't really have any desire to. It's a neat game in some aspects but it just didn't do it for me.
This is probably knit picking but I had trouble getting into it because of the voice acting. I tried playing it in Japanese because I'm a bilingual davido living in Japan and the Japanese voice cast is genuinely fantastic (the main character is the voice of fucking Zoro), but it doesn't match the mouth movements so it's really annoying. So I tried switching the game to English but the English voice acting is really fucking bad and was more off-putting than the lip movements not matching.
I have no interest in the new game. Partially because I didn't finish this one, and partially because of who they hired to voice the main character.
