>In the Future Press interview with Miyazaki, he mentions that he wanted to include an option to keep Iosefka alive, but the rest of the studio wouldn't let him. Gascoigne's daughter was similarly intended to survive
>The design of Yharnam was much different during the early stages of development, with the Grand Cathedral's astral clocktower being much more prominent in the skyline. Part of this early design can be seen in the version of Yharnam visible while in Hemwick.
>The boss room that the Witch of Hemwick is fought in not only doesn't match the aesthetic of Hemwick, it doesn't even make sense layout-wise in comparison to the massive exterior it's found in. Due to a combination of the aesthetic more matching the Cathedral Ward, the release of The Old Hunters, the fact that you find the Rune Workshop Tool there, and early footage of encountering Vicar Amelia in the room, there's speculation that the basement was originally part of a cut area somewhere in the Cathedral Ward
>Cut dialogue from Annalise's original voice actress portrays a much gentler version of the Queen, who comes off as very shy and well meaning. It's been theorized that this was changed early on to avoid making the Vilebloods too sympathetic.
>The Doll in this earlier draft also had a different voice actress, with the direction leaning more toward a creepier and more stilted cadence than the final version. In addition, blood echoes at that point was referred to as "a deeper madness" that the Doll can "turn into medicine".

Yet there haven't been DS3niggers raging for years about how the map doesn't make sense
Curious

If i recall correctly the room after the witch fight with the workshop tool was going to be the starting room instead of the clinic originally

the current version is still better, i also don't see how the cellar's aesthetic doesn't match with the rest of the structure?

I wouldn't have minded Iosefka being saved, even if only on a NG+ route. Shame that the grand catherdral clock not being as prominent in the skyline that shit sounds kino

shadow of the erdtree was a major letdown in that regard, they basically threw everything they have built in the base game out of the window and made the world untangle into this mess of all sorts of different little stories instead of a tight and coherent story of the elden ring.

>elden ring had a fine story
It didn't
Shit literally begins with you getting your own unique waifu for no reason, compared to other tarnished
And it only went worse from there
