Corsair RMX Series RM850X
>Cooling
Corsair RS120 120mm Triple Pack fans

Corsair Nautilus RS RGB 360mm

I can upgrade to a 9950X3D and a 5080 Super but it'll cost me like a grand extra

AMD X3D CPU + Nvidia GPU (unless it's a 9070XT, only acceptable AMD card) is the only valid combo right now.

I've only heard bad words about the 5070 Ti. Why not just go with the standard 5070 and save yourself like 380 euros? Most games don't even require 12 GB of VRAM anyways lol

Imagine buying expensive hardware, just to cripple yourself with 32gb of ram which is already the recommended amount of ram for most AAA games on high settings. Even Oblivion (shitty game btw) remaster requires 32gb of ram. Do you only have one monitor? Do you not mod games? Do you not run discord and a web browser in the background while gaming? I mean ram is cheap, so why not 64? Lmao

Name 10 games that need more than 16gb oF RAM

Waste of time, the point is that ram is cheap and he has already spent thousands building a future proof PC. 32gb of ram is not future proofing and it's one of the cheapest parts. Makes literally zero sense

RAM requirements don't increase if you turn graphics settings up or don't. A game will require the same RAM on low and ultra. The only setting that can arguably increase RAM usage is crowd density, but that's not a traditional graphics settings.

Nvidia is not a option. Too many driver issues on Windows and Linux. Seriously fuck you guys. You don't use computers. You don't daily drive shit. You just regurgitate old info. We live in today.

I use an Nvidia card and have zero issues. I've had an AMD card before that and had zero issues. The same 100-150 troons waging driver wars for brand wars online is not indicative of reality.

Very happy for 1600p 60hz games. I considered grabbing the 5700X3D when it was cheap last year but my non 3D variant is still holding up really well so I'm not changing it until at least AM6 (and the intel equivalent)

We just barely, baaarely started moving on to a paradigm where 32gb is recommended and even then 16gb is still fine in the vast majority of cases.
I have 32gb, even with waterfox + discord and some of the few demanding games I have like RE4make or Doom Dark Ages I've very very rarely even hit 16gb usage in game, let alone exceeded it. 64gb for games will maybe start being useful by the time we're on DDR6 unless you're very heavily modding

So this comes at around 2.6k dollarinos

Is it worth trimming down the price by getting less expensive parts (that might seem redundant) like the Cooling, PSU, Case etc or do I just bite the bullet and get a cheaper CPU like the 7800x3d?

Any standout parts to complement it? I imagine I'd step up to 2k 144hz?

>driver issues
Something inseparable from AMD GPUs, on top of having no upscaling technologies besides Fullscreen Smear Renderer, the only passable version of which is locked behind RDNA4, or proper rat tracing support.

Isn't that expensive PSU redundant?

Also no sound driver? Lmao
