16c here in Glasgow. Bit warm for my liking. I think 0c-10c is the ideal temp range. Warm weather is what holidays abroad are for, it's insufferable to live in.

Most modern AC's are very efficient, they aren't using the full power all the time.
That one is 230w, so it would take just over 4 hours running at full power to use 1 KW.
but it doesn't run at full. So it would likely last the whole day and only just use 1 KW.

It's comparable to a fridge in terms of power use.
