is this game worth 10 bucks or not? I hate giving EA money though, so I'm strongly considering not buying it.

the last game I played was Horizon Zero Dawn if that helps. the dino robots were cool but the rest of the game was awful.

not worth $10. it has no denuvo so pirate it. if you do then you need to use dxvkgplasync to fix the stutters since they never did.

Its just really bad dark souls cloned in unreal. the devs made no effort to fix the blur or stutter unless you use mods but at that point just play fucking elden ring or something.

Totally worth it OP. It’s much more of a Metroid-like game. You’ll get put on a big planet that actually has a lot more going on than you’d initially think. Plus Merrin is cute. Whatever you do though do not bother collecting flowers and plants, they are fucking useless.

Kinda. But the story want good enough for it to matter. And they recap the major beats in the second game anyways. I completely forgot ehat happened in the first game and the second games story made enough sense.

I enjoyed both it and Survivor. I'd say Survivor is better just because they made exploring actually rewarding, while in the first game side rewards are mostly cosmetic stuff.

Check gg.deals when the steam sale goes up, JFO used to go on sale for like $5
for either 5 or 10 it's worth it. JFO is disappointing in that it rips off Sekiro's combat system which is great for lightsaber combat but it only really has one boss that leans into it. Survivor leans into it harder but still not enough, though it's an improvement over JFO
both games are worth playing, JFO is worth 10 but you should be able to find it for less than that when the summer sale starts.

It is worth playing but seeing as it does not have Denuvo, just pirate it. No reason to buy it. I am a fan of this game and its sequel, but there is no reason you should buy it. The final game in the trilogy is already being made so even if you like this, there's no incentive to show support to the developers.
