PlayStation is only interesting in funding gay things. I mean the game did get a "next-gen" update, but I don't think that means much

I wanted a prequel, Days Before would follow the biker gang and be played straight 95% of the way through and then end with the evacuation of the city that kicks off Days Gone.

The game was bland and barebones and at the same time the story dragged on for way too long

The only redeeming part was the „hordes mechanism“, but otherwise it was a pretty empty openworld sandbox

Anon. I love you, but that sounds incredibly gay. There's a 2 year time skip before the game actually starts and a game taking place within those first few months would be fantastic on its own.

It could have been, a lot of the push towards making the Horizon series the "main" first-party Sony title just feels artificial. Like even a Lego Horizon game? No. There are better franchises in Sony and Bend's catalogue to make a sequel of, or just make a new IP altogether. It's bland, forgettable open world sloppa. Driving the bike was nice but I would rather play a bike gang game inspired by SoA than another boring zombie shooter.
