Indie games are the only ones still innovating and trying new things

Why has rock climbing become so huge? There are so many games for it too

I'm so tired of this indie, reddit tier, "flavor of the month" friendslop trend. All of my stupid fucking retarded nigger friends get hooked on every single one and that's all they want to play. Every time I hop on they're pushing me to buy the latest slop of the week. It's fucking annoying

saying this when the best selling indie game this year is REPO is ripping off Lethal Company? They are just jumping on the trend that is happening in gaming and they are quicker to jump on that unlike AAA corpos that take 5+ years to do it and will be outside of the trend window before the game even comes out.

Can I effectively play this through by myself or is it impossible without frieniggers?

Honestly, I don't know. We used to have fun playing real games together, but we've definitely drifted apart and having them constantly cycle through the latest slop of the week isn't helping. I really tried forcing it and playing along for a while, but I genuinely don't enjoy it. I guess I'm hoping that they'll come back around and stick to playing a few good games again
