Just hit the panic button and port over some monsters from World/Iceborne in. It's not like they can't do this. More people would be excited to fight fucking Uragaan than AT fat fish. Right now there's nothing to do and a huge part of that is them being retarded and removing the grind because of r/patientgamers crying about having only 10 mins a week to play.

There's pretty much nothing they could add or fix to make it worth going back to until an expansion. I was looking forward to Lagiacrus for a long time, but I know if I even bother picking it back up it'll just run like shit, I'll hunt it like three or four times, and I'll have all it's stuff. Done, see you again in two months for the next monster. I just don't see the point when in a year or two they'll add all the events back and I can really sink my teeth into it instead of nibbling on it for a few hours at a time. And, again, it runs like shit now. Fix that and I might be enough of a drone to overlook everything I just said and check it out anyway.

Monster Hunter and Yakuza are the two most soulless franchises currently running. Yes, even more soulless than Madden and CoD.
