Incredible aesthetics. Deep lore. Remarkably fresh take on coop shooters as a genre. Developers that seem to have created all that by accident and then spent years desperately trying to kill it, as is apparently the custom for all games made in Sweden.
In other words, a case example of why ignoring your playerbase's complaints in favor of your "artistic vision" might not always be the way to go. The Forever Winter stepped on the same rake even harder and might actually be DOA, at least GTFO wasn't a technical mess.
