The original BF2 by pandemic was a lot more fun and doesn't include micro-transactions.
The 2017 one was underrated, but only because it was critically shit on at release for being a lootbox whoring mess, which it 100% was, even if the game underneath was kinda solid.

I played it for the first time on console last month. It was VERY FUN for like 12 hours. Then got boring. Still def, recommend for $4. The hero classes are so fun to try out

It's fun for a few days. If you like Star Wars it looks and sounds like Star Wars. But the typical EA stuff gets old

I quit the game after realising I needed to get thousands of kills to get Maul's Kenobi emote. Other than that, it's worth it since the game comes with a campaign and multiplayer.

It's fine, just don't expect a lot of progression and deep gameplay. It's a pure arcade shooter with a focus on visauls

yeah this, bad players run into a hallway, get 1-2 kills and die while good players can sit on a hero for the whole match and easily go into 100+ killstreak

even the 2015 battlefront was much better with 1 hero limit and basically no health regen so you'd eventually go down to the inevitable chip damage you take
