Yeah but like WHAT is it? Why is it not just called a stew since that's basically what it is? What sets a hearty stew apart from curry? Is it basically just the same thing but with absurd amounts of ground spices in it? It's not stew at all. Curry is typically one veg or protein cooked in a sauce made of aromatic spices. It's usually served with rice or some type of flatbread as the base. It's delicious when done right but definitely not something for a child's pallett
