Is it true that weeb games are mostly trash? I always enjoyed them growing up but people say that most anime games are terrible, too difficult, or just plain weird?

anime shouldn't have gone mainstream. Anime is full of fetishes both overt and not so much. Stuff like VN"s especially so. But you know what? Anime has pretty much always been this way, at least what we consider "modern" anime. It's weird it's so mainstream now, and people bitch so much. Do something else if you don't like it? Is that actually true? I have seen fans speculate that because of the ending not really giving a clear answer to who he's gonna date, that means there's gonna be more, but I've always read that as the author going: "I don't wanna ruin it by giving a clear answer, each reader can make up their own mind who he ends up with" kinda ambigious ending, ya know? Has there ever been anything official that there was supposed to be more?
Also: reminds me of the novel of "Welcome to the NHK", where in the afterword he writes how he wants to do his best to stop being a neet, and then years later in a second afterword he writes: "Several years have passed since I wrote, “I still will do my best after this.” I have not done my best. Neither should video games or comic books, these things were designed to be niche, glad the future is this stuff going back to being a niche but I hope streaming dies or becomes exactly like cable. Netflix, in all honestly, need to follow a cable model and stop promoting shit to mainstream, same goes to all these other subscription services that way everything can return to a niche and anime channels can become a premium again.
