Actually, 0td's rarely happened in the beta because of how broken dodging was. It was to the point where people could rarely hit each other because everyone would mash dodge all the time.

Man, I'd kill for a Dissidia in the style of the original or Duodecim on console or PC.

Definitely should have been 3 dodges max, and having to actively deal enough damage to recharge any of it.

If not for the horrible grind, it would have been fine. I didn't even mind the minigames. But having to jump through hoops on every stage, and higher difficulties being gated by higher damage enemies who shrug off more punishment unless you level up a bunch of pins that are going to be worthless next month was not how to conduct business.
People can tell when they're being bent over a barrel.

funnily enough, NT had better stages than the original 2 games. pitfalls were a blight to those games upon a recent replay.
I'd say at this point, they should just completely redo the formula a 3rd time from scratch, taking notes from the first 2 and NT.
