If you're too stupid to Google, perhaps you should use an AI assistant.

>>713408887
Don't even fucking try that fucking retarded solution.
Download pcsx2 nightly and that's it. Just load up the iso or disc if you have one and play the game without any fucking issues on new fucking software and not one that piece of outdated shit

Emulate. I suggest going with Dolphin/Gamecube versions since they have less issues and Gamecube version both runs and looks better on original hardware. Same applies to From Russia with Love.

The LRPS2 core is superior because it has ParaLLEl-GS and upstream PCSX2 doesn't

It also supports CRT shaders

How that affects the game that is running perfectly with upscaling on pcsx2?

PCSX2 hardware renderers, especially when upscaling, are inaccurate, they literally can't be perfect.

go on and find some graphical glitches in nightfire on nighly version of pcsx2. I know there aren't any because I finished the game and it worked perfectly

They're just inaccurate compared to PGS or software, doesn't have to be overt glitches.

Then why should anyone care? I don't think figuring out the clusterfuck of retroarch is worth it for playing one game that runs good enough on pcsx2 which takes seconds to set up and play

Okay have fun maintaining and configuring 20 different standalone emulators that all have worse features than Retroarch, and in many cases the emulators themselves are actually worse, arguably even PCSX2 too now since it doesn't have ParaLLEl-GS and there's nothing upstream has that it doesn't anymore.

We are talking about 1 game for a retard that doesn't even know what the fuck to do in the first place. Take his lack of knowledge into consideration. he doesn't even know ps2 emulator and you are talking about 20 emulators of different systems. I have to try this core and check out if it can run the games that do not want to run on pcsx2

Retard retroarch autist. Shut the fuck up. PCSX2 is an excellent emulator that's constantly being updated. It works right out of the box.

just check this any time you're wondering about console games
https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Main_Page
also always make sure your windows is updated, gpu drivers are updated, and vc++ redistribs are updated
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
any time you're using 3rd party software like emus, because a lot of them won't bundle stuff you need
don't install emus to program files, make a folder right on your c drive just for stuff like that, something like c:\games and put the emu in there like c:\games\pcsx2 this isn't super important for pcsx2 afaik but a lot of random emus will try to write to their own folders and that will give you problems if they're in program files
if you follow these tips you'll be a pc gamer in no time

So... is there any consensus on what's the best way to play this game? If not, what the fuck was the point of this thread?
