My mom has a Max subscription on Amazon prime.

The Minecraft movie invoked an uncanny acid trip vibe that I haven't felt since watching 'Shark Boy and Lava Girl' or that weird as fuck live action Cat in the Hat movie as a kid.

The movie is shit, but that's what makes it fun. My dad unironically broke his leg a week ago and is glued to the couch, and he was getting tired of me forcing him to watch cringe compilations; he wanted to watch a "movie." I put this shit on and he fell asleep like 10 minutes in, but my mom sat through it and thought the movie was "complete ass."

Honestly, seeing her reaction was the funniest part. I don't think she even knows what a "Minecraft" is.

Anyways, the movie is only good if you enjoy crust. I wish my dad was awake when we watched it, but atleast I was there after the movie to help him up and get him to the bathroom to take a piss. And fuck yes I still live with my parents.

What were your thoughts on the Minecraft movie anon?

I saw a cam recording of the working print and I probably enjoyed it more than I would have the actual theatrical version. Seeing the wires the half finished effects was both humorous and charming in "Oh that's how they do it" way.
Zombies bleeding and the elytra chase scene having one of those Vietnam war era boomer songs were also pretty bad ass.

Next time someone tells you flying is the safest way to travel, you go up in that plane and break your leg.
That will show them.

I would like to think I have a decent taste. Movies with a three act structure that have real character growth and a happy, or atleast bittersweet, resolution are what I look for.

Comedy movies like Blades of Glory and Airplane are great.

My favorite war movie is probably 1917

Animated movies like the first three toy story movies are great.

Just muh thoughts.

Honestly I am glad that everyone treated it like a corporate slop product and not high quality entertainment
Grown ass adults because of kids ruining their viewing of a movie for children with chicken jockey was even better
