AAA games are the formulaic ones man, wtf are you on about? All the creativity, experimentation and risk taking is in indie games, often starting as game jam games, sure there are shit indie games, and more shit indie games than shit AAA games, but that's because there's a lot more indie games being made every day because of all the game engine and game publishing accessibility nowadays.
