MGSV was way too woke for it to be saved by extra content. It was literally packed with television memes and themes, and television by then was so politically conscious, any attempts to derail the story into a cohesive, elemental tale would have just sprouted more anxiety.

Mgsv doesn’t need saving, its absolutely great as is and an extremely popular game.

Unused is not the correct word to use. Content is being strategically withheld until the right time. Not by Konami. By Kojima himself.
