Have you ever felt a feeling of nostalgia for a game immediately after beating it?
Like you enjoyed it so much and now that i's over you kinda just want to go for run 2 immediately, and carry over all your skills and knowledge to your new run?

For me it's pic related. I beat it a few hours ago, ate some dinner, had a shower, but already feel drawn to play it some more. It's a weird feeling I don't think I've had since the PS2.

That's called "liking the game". Don't water-down words that actually mean something

Gave me a slither of hope that good games can still be made in this ocean of complete trash we've had for a decade+

Ys VIII made me aimlessly run around the world a little because I couldn't really accept it was over. The post-game dungeon is melancholic as all hell.

That just sounds like "enjoyment" with more words.

Same here, anon. Finished Stellar Blade and immediately started NG+ like a zombie. Combat flow felt smooth as hell once everything clicked, and the world design constantly had me poking into corners for more lore and loot. Also didn’t help that Eve’s animations and the OST had this addicting vibe, like you’re playing a stylish sci-fi rhythm game half the time. Honestly, haven’t had that “just one more hour” feeling in ages.

I for one really started questioning what it is Ubisoft is doing to their employees. If 30 Frenchies can churn out one of the greatest games of the generation how the fuck can't Ubisoft produce anything but the same 3 titles on repeat?

It's a corporation, the higher ups don't have a fucking clue what makes a good game so they just keep churning shit out that other companies have been making. One perfect example is the success of BG3, WOTC have decided to invest $1B into their games production thinking they can throw money at it to create another success but it doesn't work like that. That was purely due to Larian. They may as well just throw that money away

I agree. It feels like someone at a corporate executive level have misunderstood what made these games good. Adding more money, more time and more people are rarely what makes this particular lightning strike twice.

Just having a passionate development team with the funding and no time restraints but even then it's still a hit or miss. Whoever is funding just needs to take a chance time to time, instead of trying to emulate whatever is popular at the time. Just look at all those arena shooters everyone is sick of

Firstly, it isn't spam. I know that's like double points in terms of upset.
Secondly, there are minorities on /v/ who have a real problem with this game, mostly non-whites and other sloppers, so I get them too.
Thirdly, but not lastly, I actually enjoyed it a lot and enjoy the occational good discussion about it. Even if most of it has been talked about already.
