There's nothing wrong with being able to skip combat and just relax while playing. Not everyone has the time to bash their head against a difficult enemy for an hour.
Difficulty modes should show up visually on your character, HUD, and have enemies actively insult you and be more embarrassing the easier you go.
If you genuinely do not want to play a game, just watch a fucking video or read a book.

If you're not playing on thw hardest possible difficulty you're not a real gamer

You might want to get tested for severe retardation or cerebral palsy.
>>713440563 (OP)it depends i love difficulty when Iām ENJOYING the game, i played ys 9 on nightmare and it was sooo fucking fun, I did something similar with persona 3 reload and smt vv, but for example I suck at arpg so I just play them on normal most of the time
After a few bosses i proceeded to play LoP:Overture on ''easy'' because everything on ''normal'' kills you in 2 hits and said enemy only goes down after hundreds of hits.
Hammering on forever makes me feel like a weak pussy.
If ''difficulty'' is pumping up the shit out of healthbar and attack numbers, you don't introduce anything except tedium which is only appreciated by the best players who dedicate their lives to the genre.
On a side note, i play co-op shooters like DRG and HD2 consistently on the highest difficulty because it is actually fun to deal with and rewards accordingly.
Why would anyone want a poster of Jack Nicholson on their wall staring at them all weird as they play their vidya
>>713440563 (OP)playing modern slop isn't gaming its time wasting, like cheating playing candy land.
