Came out while the switch was relevant, so it was one or the other. Besides, this was nintendo letting grezzo take a shot at their own game and it flopped hard. To nintendo, they’re better off doing smaller zelda games and ports than their own thing if ever oasis is the result of the latter, and they aren’t getting out of those mines for a long time
