literal 10/10 controller for MODERN games. I use it every day for 3 years now. No regrets. Make sure you get the latest revision. Like the translucent ones.

The dpad is atrocious, even on newer versions. The pro 2 dpad though is excellent.

i had an SF30 pro, used it until the sticks deteriorated
it's fine, except that L2/R2 aren't analogs if you play games where that matters
if you need analog triggers get the pro 2 instead

their quality control is kind of for shit, some people luck out and some get screwed
my pro 2 is hanging in there but the r1 has lost all feedback (still registers fine), the battery exploded months ago, and the input mode switch on the bottom has always been very sensitive and if it gets bumped at all it's likely to disconnect the controller

This controller is crap, but ironically it's better for modern games than older ones. I played Zelda BOTW for 150 hours on the oldest version of this same controller (the SN30Pro with start and select on the diagonal), and although it was pretty bad, it allowed me to play the game normally. It was only when I tried to play 2D games that require precision that the whole experience went down the drain (Tetris 99, Celeste, Mario Maker, Mario World kaizo romhacks, difficult 2D games in general, etc.).

it inflated, as lithium batteries do
i never actually used it wireless so it was no real loss to me, but i should've just taken it out in the first place

This would be fine if you spend no more than 30 minutes at a time playing a game. I would consider almost anything else if you're looking for a controller that can handle anything you throw at it.

I always used an SN30 pro on my switch and got a Pro 2 when I got my switch 2
I really like it, the Pro 2 is definitely a slight upgrade but I dont think I'll ever use the back buttons

also recently found out you can just throw some normal batteries in where the recharchable pack is I feel stupid for not already trying that

As much as I enjoyed the snes controller back in the day.... those things are not ergonomic. After using the comfort of a ps1 controller... it's just hard to go back to snes controller.
