Even if his later episodes aren't technically sponsored, Jagex is monitoring his progress and making changes to the UI and game. He's definitely getting paid under the table and just not legally disclosing it, for promotion as well as game testing from the noob perspective.

The fact he came back to classic WoW, knowing it was completely except for bots, GDKP, and token-mount buying whales, isn't testament to his addiction to WoW, it's a testament to his addiction to money from Blizzard.
