Low stress WFH. 8 hours isn’t a long time if you don’t have to get ready, commute, sit through lunch, meal prep, etc. It doesn’t have to be one of those do nothing jobs either, just not completely exhausting

WFH is nearly impossible to get nowadays ever since Jews realized that, despite it apparently increasing productivity, it also increased general happiness. And they can’t have that

It wasn't jews, it was retired boomers and nearly retired retards that were pissed the new generation had a realistic and modern approach to office work. You don't need to go around the office social loop to produce good work, but tech illiterate nearly retired managers were ragged on to kill WFH by the 3 old fags that still showed up to the office and were upset they didn't have the young people there to bully and talk at. People who have taken their licks get REALLY, REALLY angry when their turn to use the whip is taken away from them.

They also were too afraid to close down office space because it's a huge tax write off (and also a justification/work source for several industries that just supply, clean and maintain office buildings), but couldn't justify keeping the office space without wageslaves in the office seats at all times. Realistically this is probably the bigger reason.

>work part time
>still don't know how to fit vidya into my schedule amongst other hobbies and chores in a way that i can dedicate meaningful time to it
After dishes, washing and hanging clothes, making sure the house isn't turning into a shithole, cooking, I can maybe squeeze in some vidya time. But then I feel guilty, do I play vidya or do I read a book, do I watch one of the over 100 movies I've had on my watchlist for multiple years now, do I build the gundam that's sitting on my shelf, I don't exercise much anymore, do I go for a walk?

There isn't enough time in the day.

You have freedom.
Enjoy every single moment of hour life. Everything becomes way worse with a job. Mostly because almost everybody hate their jobs.

THIS. I do work from home, I get all of my shit done way before deadline and then I sit around gaming until something else comes in. And even if work is busy, I don't have to commute so I still get more time for games anyway, plus my lunch break.

iktf. The winning move is to go casual. Not necessarily in your passion or enjoyment of the games but finding games that are easy to approach according to your own tastes and ideally, satisfying without having to commit a great deal of time. A lot of different types of games are enjoyable on a casual basis, not just "casual games," too.

>What’s the winning play here?
Work and save money to retire early. It's easy as a first worlder since you can then move to a shithole and basically get 3 times more from your money.
I'm 28 and live with my parents, no gf, almost no expenditure. The only problem is that I am the shitworlder so I can't get the firstie boost, but still project to retire at 40.

This is my best friend from higschool. Works full time plus dealing with work shit off the clock, lives with his fiancee, is costantly doing shit like hikes and travelling around the country, finishes multiple books a month, watches movies, puts hundreds of hours into RPGs. I'm beginning to think I'm just retarded and it's actually really easy but I genuinely feel like I don't have the time even when I stay up till like 3am trying to squeeze some enjoyment out of the day.
