Ok, but how does the option to skip a boss fight affects you personally?
Marielx !Vidya4T.Xo No.713478323 [Report]
Any option of skip gameplay to continue without the effort of completing a challenge affects anyone who actually enjoys the game as those who skipped content will still think their opinion matters for possible sequels or new content when they dont have the full knowledge or experience of the situation to give a proper feedback.

Someone post a good rebuttal for me I can't be bothered.

I don't care. This is like getting mad that you can play a game on easy.

Not to mention that you can always retry the battle later if you want to. That would obviously be necessary if you want the battle evaluation and/or want to 100% the game.

Cause people will see how high a review score it gets and then go,
>hey we should add this to our game
Then it effects me and (You) but not (You) cause you don't play video games.

It effectively downplays my capability as a player and as a human to adapt and learn from my mistakes/failures. These options should only be in dedicated "cinematic play" modes for the people who don't in fact want challenge. Anything that doesn't respect player intelligence and competence (when a player intentionally plays with that in mind) is something I find annoying. As someone who's played the original trilogy, I started playing Stalker 2 recently on Veteran difficulty (or whatever the stock highest option is), and I keep noticing all the stupid yellow markings on ladders and certain doorways. The warning markers too, which I had to navigate into an options menu to disable.
>Tldr; have it in easy modes if you want, but I don't enjoy easy games, and don't want to be handheld in any way when I play a game on a hard difficulty.

Can’t wait for ds2 honestly, I play ds1 every summer and I’m holding off because I don’t want to burn out on the gameplay, but I need it.
Skipping boss fights? Can’t wait for my 3rd play thru drunk, saying “Fuck this *urp*”

having this faggot pop-up everytime i die to a boss is as cancerous as those "do you want to lower the difficulty?" pop-ups that were common in some ps2-ps3 era games
best case scenario would be a menu option to disable it completely, but since giving players options is literally fascism and transphobia nowadays that will never happen

It obviously only pops up once. Gameplay tips can also be completely turned off in the settings.

You would know that if you would have ever played Death Stranding, or any other video game for that matter, whiny dumbfuck.

I don't care if people play on easy mode, skip bosses, watch video guides on youtube, cheat, ask their siblings for help, or if they stick their controller up their ass and moan. It is not my fucking problem how others want to spend their time with their vidya.

they will still give you a option to pretend to win every time. its shit.

same thing happened with infinite inventory space, auto-heal, a single type of ammo, difficulties being just more bullet-sponges, etc: game design gets lazy and worse

>oh, the boss has a gamebreaking bug or is just too difficult to the point of being unfair? just skip it

Pretty based ngl. If a game is gonna let you be a bitch like this it at least needs to mock you for it.

But why don't you just watch a playthrough on YouTube instead? Oh, it's because you want the satisfaction and social clout of being able to say you participated in the experience without actually committing to the bare minimum being asked of you, you shitty fucking entitled narcissist.

The sharing of passion is an important part of the human experience. The gameplay is the most important part of a video game. Skipping gameplay means ignoring an entire aspect of passion you have for the game
