The most MEMORABLE for me is blighttown because I picked the master key and went there immediately, unlocked the bonfire on the bottom, and got stuck there forever trying to get out. I eventually went down the tree and got cursed and ragequit and didn't play again for ages. I hadn't played anything fromsoftware before, went in blank, no faggot-loser guides or anything

First time i went there i also got stuck for a while. I didnt know you had a chance of gettinmg Purging Stones from the clams and neither did you

Demon ruins and the Duke's Archives after you had cleared the tower thing. But overall DS I is overrated shit.

In the series? Either Drangleic Castle or Dragon Aerie. DaS2 has some absolutely incredible areas but suffers from being disconnected and illogical as shit. And no, not in a good “lore supported” way.
In DaS, Ash Lake. The music, ambiance, and feeling of finding this massive hidden area under - and maybe even supporting - *everything* is unmatched.

There's no defending that it used to stack.

Sen's was my favourite in just how quickly you can move through and around the zone when you get familiar with it. I think you can sprint through it in 3 minutes or something?
I also loved taking the Master Key and starting with Queelag to then become stupidly overpowered and rip through Burg and the rest. I've only done the Depths once but I've done up to Anor Londo a dozen times

It's really not that bad. I went back last year to replay it and she only really does 4 attacks which are nicely telegraphed. Main issue is when trying to run out of her nova (the only thing that one shots) you can accidentally run into a lava patch

>even if you come across dragon mats, they would be very wasted on the drake sword
>10 minutes after acquiring the drake sword, you can get any other weapon and upgrade it to hit harder

And the ""OP Drake Sword" is op for exactly 2 small zones. After that any other weapon is better with a few small easy upgrades
