I have a steam deck oled. I agree and think It's time for valve to make a new steam deck. I understand 1080p might be too much but 900p is good compromise. However the nintendo ecosystem is not to my fancy and alot of the games can be emulated later without getting ripped off. I bought a switch lite. I was not very interested in the new nintendo games and only played dragon ball and bomb rush cyberfunk. So I got the steam deck. I was able to play my favorite games that way without paying the nintendo tax.

I'm playing Mario 64 on the switch 1 and I suck at it despite the game not being all that complicated. Do the joycons just suck for this game or is it me? It feels finnicky and irritating and I feel like I wouldn't have that issue with a proper joystick. I've never played the game on the Nintendo 64, so maybe someone with experience with both could tell me if it's me. It feels like chinese water torture.

Nevermind my question. The problem most definitely is the gay controls. I don't know how to describe the feeling but I was not made to make tiny movements on these little fucking controllers and I cannot deal with it, the lack of fullness in my muscle movements drives me insane, I can't describe the feeling, it's like some kind of teetering feeling, it becomes tangible and it pisses me off. Imagine piloting a fighter jet with a fucking joycon. That's how I feel.
