Looks like almost all third party games are in the first wave but from what I've heard the one that is a proper physical copy (cyberpunk) is outselling them all by an order of magnitude.

I know for instance I was going to buy Bravely Default but when I saw it was a key cart I decided to pirate it instead at some point.

I dunno. I genuinely have most of the physical games I want. I guess the collectors edition of Dark Messiah would be pretty cool.

I was actually thinking about picking up some more PS3 games but after playing pic related I changed my mind. the loading screens and fps was horrid and I don't think my console is going to live much longer. and I already have good bit of games I either haven't played yet or haven't played in a long long time
I've been having more fun with emulation than ever anyways

its a short game with a bad story, with gimmick after gimmick but what's there is still pretty good. some of the gimmicks are really fun (wingsuit, ice picks) and some are fucking stupid (solar-powered heating, oxygen mask, echolocation radar). I haven't dived into the mission mode yet but, like most games of its kind from that gen, they traded a good singleplayer mode for online features. I wouldn't buy it for more than $10, even if you really love ssx 3 and tricky

I think im nearing end of my journey. Collectan since 2014. Over 1k games in regular editions. About several hundred LEs after collecting regular editions got boring. Realize that im almost 40 and will probably not have time to enjoy each one. Not to mention the humiliation ritual of new games being woke and having less and less of of the things that made me fall in love with gaming in the first place.

I also collect for PC. Have several hundred boxed hentai games. Some in 'big boxes'. Hentai games are the last bastion of PC physicals.

I have more faith in an inevitable indie clone than ea ever touching the series again. skate 4 looks extremely stale. steep was disappointing, riders republic looked even worse. it's a dark time for x game vidya
another thing about the reboot, you never get to fully upgrade a character in the story mode. I'm going through the mission mode and it's the exact same courses as the story just with higher goals. so that's a bit of a letdown. maybe it gets better at max gear upgrades
