I had a similar experience. I had a dream about a Waluigi game where he played small scale games as part of a competition, but all the games are bullshit and unwinnable, so the point was to collect cheat codes to use in the games. It had magazine articles where you could find codes, there were arcades with hint corners, and forum sites that had fake shit all over the place. I was almost excited about it when I woke up, but i slowly came to realize that it was just the Game Center CX game with an extra gimmick.

TV Dinnah is just an asshole control freak and just another obstacle in your way because Corobo hates TV. Tenna, even though Kris hates him too, is allowed to be more sympathetic and is about the nostalgia of watching family gatherings dwindle over the years, because Darkners have the benefit of having their own thoughts and needs. The concept is no entirely dissimilar but the execution is night and day.
