No shit. You can't steal a house twice. Any goodwill he had from the MGSV fiasco was pissed away with DS1. And I say that as someone with over 250 in DS1.
>>713508258 (OP) I actually enjoyed the first game but literally every single piece of news or showcase Ive seen turned me away from the game it looks actually appalling

Did this game get no marketing or something I didn't even know it launched until I got on /v/ and saw a couple of threads on the catalog
>>713513812 I think there are only 2 trailers. And then I guess that cutscene they released of Luca. The first game had at least 5 I think. I though Kojima was the big trailer guy but he seems to not be up to it this time.

>>713508258 (OP) The first game was a laughing stock of garbage, I really don't get why they made another one. The story was ridiculous, the gameplay was terrible. Maybe I'm wrong and gamers are retarded though. It's main selling point seems to just be that it's crazy.
>>713514097 well i saw almost all the game cutscenes and he burned it all majors in to the wylder trailer

>>713516743 Its very fun and comfy when you get to the second area. You are either with the plot or you aren't, but nobody is with the plot when the final boss gives their (literal)hour long explanation speech and its factually incorrect and stupid.

>>713514894 >The first death stranding was fun It was tedious horse shit
>>713518068 I enjoyed building a highway across america and being a trucker on said road while fighting ghosts with infinite blood grenades that were also in my truck. I kept the same truck fron the moment I got it until I ran out of road to build and had to start setting up zip lines. Its really satisfying when the infrastructure you set up during that part of the game helps you make it back across to the east coast at the end.

Its the same as the first game, Playstation players dislike it because there is too much gameplay. The game belongs on Steam with all the Eurotruck boomers.

>>713518775 >DS1 had more gameplay in the gameplay:cutscene ratio than any other kojima game. meanwhile the gameplay is walking. You know, that "gameplay" people use traditionally to mask loading screens or pad playtime kek.
>>713519027 Huh? DS1 here refers to death stranding 1. Walking in Dark souls 1 is fine mostly because the gameplay is completely different, the world is actually interesting, and theres combat every 10 steps to consider. Walking to and from locations in DS1 is kinosoul and builds the world. Walking in DS1 by contrast is just time wasting for the sake of it.
>>713511646 >>713516361 there is literally nothing evocative of the 80s in TPP outside of the music picks and that's it. It's completely and lazy hollow nostalgia baiting. MGS3 commits way more to its 60s time period than TPP does the 80s
