I did the moment the petition dropped but the only way these EU citizen initiatives pass is with celebrity and politician support
For example conversion therapy ban one got like 500K signatures in a week thanks to French celebrities telling them to VOTE

I don't like Asmongold but if there is a way to get him to shill it then that's the way to go

With the failure of all democratic efforts to stop the wholesale murder of games Ross the moldman will be forced to step up and take over the world to force the preservation of video games

>asmongoloid already made a video
I know and I mentioned him regardless for a reason
For Asmon this is not that important, his interest in the initiative was more casual than anything serious, he was not actively campaigning to get people to vote. I don't think he even read the full FAQ text and from what I remember of his reactions to Ross videos he didn't really understand his position fully
Also most of his audience is American

You can tell his spirit has been broken in the last video. He usually never does any sort of response video ever, so the fact he felt the need to do it just to clear everything up even if the initiative fails says something.

I fucking loathe pirate software for killing the whole thing on the crib because he got an assumption then said it is stupid because of his wrong assumption and then doubled tripled and quadrupled down on it when the thing was picking up momentum.

As someone who follows EU citizen initiatives in general, these things get low support all year long or get a big boost at the start like SKG did and then peter out
Then one of two things happen:
1. Failure
2. Big last minute sprint college student about to miss deadline for his bachelir paper style

Technically yes, but it’s not automatic. The EU has provisions to request deadline extensions for citizen initiatives, but it’s a process and not guaranteed. The organizers would need to justify it with clear evidence—stuff like COVID disruptions or severe bureaucratic delays. Just “we didn’t get enough signatures in time” isn’t usually good enough. Unless Ross or whoever’s in charge has a killer case and some MEGA political backing, it’s looking slim.

Honestly, at this rate, we’re banking on some miracle last-minute push. Or Elon suddenly tweeting it for no reason.
