very very impossible scenario and probably wont happen but maybe when kojima ages a bit more he'll get sentimental about metal gear's legacy and do one last hurrah as a sendoff to his career and what he'll be remembered for.

no, everything about mgsv from its setting to its characters to its plot was spiritually wrong. you can't add anything to that to fix it, you'd have to wipe the board clean and start over. maybe by making it a sequel to mgs1-4 instead of some faggot psp games nobody ever played

I feel like he's the type of person to care more about metal gear as a franchise than his grievances with konami. He'd still dislike them but it would be more of a personal project than anything else.
Of course it'd have to be with full creative control but I can see Konami giving him the IP under those conditions with minimal effort. Konami does that with the Silent Hill games already and it would massively benefit them to allow such a deal.
Kojima gets a final way to say goodbye without any of the konami bullshit from before and Konami can have a clean slate after to do whatever they want (as well as the large profit from something marketed as the grand return of a final MGS game by hideo kojima)
