>>713547681>>713544434100 years ago Hyrule Kingdom wasn't limited just to the continent, it was sovereign to many other minor kingdoms across the sea that abandoned the Hylia bloodline's side upon the Great Calamity.
Nowadays, most of these are neutral towards the restored Hyrule Kingdom, with few lands providing support to Zelda (such as Yona's homeland), and some are even hostile, having devolved into chaotic states too prideful to side with Hyrule again.
In this new adventure, Link proves himself to the people of Hyrule as a worthy man to take the crown of the kingdom, as he and future queen Zelda travel back and forth meeting the kingdom's old allies, forming alliances, trying to send eachother to the deepths of the sea or completely ignoring them if they aren't necessary (needless to mention the true finale would require you to unify all of them and restore the Great Hyrule Kingdom), all while they investigate the true origin of Hyrule, which predates even Rauru, explore locations from other Zelda games (such as Phantom Hourglass, Oracles of Seasons and Oracles of Ages) and rescue princess ZeldaAryll Hyrule, their daughter.
