My new thinkpad e14 gen 6 has pgup and pgdown positioned next to the arrow keys

Also how many pc games use the literal keyboard pause button? I remember mugen doing that because esc would straight out close to the main menu instead

huh, so that's what it does

I've tried testing it in a few text editors and it changes nothing. They always prioritize the cursor moving. I've tried just pressing the button and holding it. No difference.

I am using Linux Mint so maybe that's why. I wonder if it works for Arch users who basically don't use a mouse

Pressing 2 keys for an input that could use a single key is worse than just using that one key. Especially when it requires both hands.

Your hand isn't always on the arrow keys, so it's the same kind of motion but worse because you need both hands to achieve it.

Arousing your computer makes it run faster (and hotter).
It's a substitute for the touchpad, but much more precise and controllable, while also being located bang in the middle of your keyboard, so you don't need to change hand position when going from typing to moving the cursor and vice versa. It's an objectively superior experience to the touchpad and after getting used to it I refuse to ever touch a notebook that doesn't have a nipple ever again in my life. It's that good.

Based and ANSI-coded. Been using Shift+Insert since the DOS days, feels like a secret handshake now. Funny how something that used to be standard is now treated like black magic by zoomers.
