When people queue for a game, they have an image in their head of how they want the game to go. Everyone assumes the game will be normal, a top laner in top, a mid laner in mid, a jungler in the jungle, and a support + carry in the bottom lane on both teams.
No one queues up with the expectation for someone to be playing lolsorandom trio top to kill tower under 4 minutes then go do something else. That is not league of legends. Keep that retard shit in dota where nothing has an identity.

It's funny how LoL has to hyper-curate their metas to the point of near full sterilization due to some of the fundamental design choices they made at its inception. Guinsoo's autistic hate of 'bookkeeping' was only ever going push the game into narrower and narrower design space until there's no space to work with. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually you'd be force-walked to lane by an Ai Shepard/referee that watches each game looking for fouls and 'toxic strategies' to correct.

kind of unrelated but Dead By Daylight is basically doing the exact same thing. they've turned the game into a chase oriented tunneling meta because all gen regression has been nerfed to the ground and killers have to get someone out of the game as fast as psosible, so survivors are playing very cautiously and trying to delay chases as long as possible. instead of recognizing that they fucked the meta, they're now instituting AFK timers that give you a DC penalty if you don't interact with ingame objects enough, regardless of context.

it's like this ultimate cope of terrible game design when devs have to do retarded shit like this. literally just shut the servers down and run the game with bots if you want to control everything players do that tightly, why am i even here?
