Dev got bored with the game, spent like a year "working on the game(removing scenes)", then called it complete and released it on Steam.

It's still a pretty pretty decent game overall however. Just wish the dev spent less time obsessing over the shitty dungeon crawler and instead made the main routes last longer than 30 minutes.

I like Mystwood because of the simple yet rewarding gameplay/storytelling and I've never played MotH for a longer period because the models are a bit too ugly for me. If I remember correctly the gameplay also wasn't that intruiging but I could be wrong. haven't tried midnight sin yet but it's sad to hear that it's disappointing, I'll play it when it's finished but I can at least temper my expectations now
