>>713549082Slightly different, yours has audio slats and not mesh, but it's definitely a mid-90s Trinitron.
>>713549276Damn thats almost the exact one
Practicing Deathsmiles and Shatterhand
>>713549082why dont you crop the photo to show only the TV instead of the over 50% unrelated including your body and cropped face
>>713549439I dunno doing a simple cut in paint seemed easy enough
>>713549082>>713549276>>713549323Found it. Sony KV-20TR23. I can't post the link to CRT Database but you can just search it there.
I found a CRT someone threw away on the street. But their is an issue with the top of the screen. It kinda looks like the image is like 20 pixels too high and everything that went off screen is flipped upside down back onto the screen. I still play on it but if anything important shows up on the tip top of the screen it looks fucked up
>>713549889You can try screen tilt if it has a menu but otherwise, it's an internal problem, probably with the yoke. You can rotate it by hand but I'm sure I don't need to express that CRTs are fucking dangerous and you should rubber up best you can.
Lunar silver star story for the mega CD, using the lame excuse of "learning japanese".
But also that means i'm dodging the working design bullet.
>>713550034Yeah I dont think im even gonna take that gamble. I'll eventually buy a real one
The entire pre-7th-gen Final Fantasy series.
I didnโt realize that the optimal way to play these games on a CRT was at 240p, so I was getting strange visual artifacts on the screen when emulating them from my PS3 (which is not capable of outputting at 240p.) I modded my Wii instead, which can output at 240p, and it looks amazing.
All this is to say, if you are kinda just interested in playing on a CRT but donโt know much about it, make sure youโre playing on a device thatโs capable of 240p output. It makes a huge difference in visual clarity and crispness.
>>713549889That's most likely a capacitor issue, so it's fixable by replacing a simple component, but you probably shouldn't try disassembling a CRT yourself because there's lethal voltage in there.
>>713550225>>713550093>>713550034Found it on the CRT database.
Toshiba 20AF42
>>713550067>But also that means i'm dodging the working design bulletI finished Popful Mail a few months ago and I could not believe that they did not include ANY Falcom staff members in the credits. It is not possible to hate Working Designs enough
>>713551325I try to not look at everything they did, because everytime i learn a new thing about working designs, it's something evil or retarded
i aint touching my crt until the heat dies down
