Slightly different, yours has audio slats and not mesh, but it's definitely a mid-90s Trinitron.

I found a CRT someone threw away on the street. But their is an issue with the top of the screen. It kinda looks like the image is like 20 pixels too high and everything that went off screen is flipped upside down back onto the screen. I still play on it but if anything important shows up on the tip top of the screen it looks fucked up

You can try screen tilt if it has a menu but otherwise, it's an internal problem, probably with the yoke. You can rotate it by hand but I'm sure I don't need to express that CRTs are fucking dangerous and you should rubber up best you can.

The entire pre-7th-gen Final Fantasy series.

I didnโ€™t realize that the optimal way to play these games on a CRT was at 240p, so I was getting strange visual artifacts on the screen when emulating them from my PS3 (which is not capable of outputting at 240p.) I modded my Wii instead, which can output at 240p, and it looks amazing.

All this is to say, if you are kinda just interested in playing on a CRT but donโ€™t know much about it, make sure youโ€™re playing on a device thatโ€™s capable of 240p output. It makes a huge difference in visual clarity and crispness.

That's most likely a capacitor issue, so it's fixable by replacing a simple component, but you probably shouldn't try disassembling a CRT yourself because there's lethal voltage in there.

I finished Popful Mail a few months ago and I could not believe that they did not include ANY Falcom staff members in the credits. It is not possible to hate Working Designs enough
