Mexico is small open area with 3 distribution centres and maybe 3 more small bunkers to deliver to.

Plenty of lost cargo and routes to take them, 3 different environment biomes as well within this small tutorial area

I just got to the Magellan so I haven't seen much, the improvements are nice but I am surprised how much this is just the first game. Not complaining, I loved the first but combat still feels boring here and was my least favorite part of the first. I'm enjoying all the random little mechanic updates though, like connecting two ladders. The game in general just feels more streamlined which is good but I also am having trouble caring about the story so far this time around although I wasn't really invested in the first one until the last third. The only mechanical frustrations I've come across so far is not being able to attach cargo to the bike while your ride it instead of the backpack and also not being able to attach cargo to your dropped pack while you are carrying it with your hands but these are minor. I watched some streams of DS2. It is still a walking simulator. There is a short stealth segment at the start, but it is still mostly walking in an empty wasteland. All the budget was spent on Hollywood actors. Konami did nothing wrong.
