It also hijacks player control not even 20 seconds into giving you the ability to move. That's an instant drop from me.

Most games before 1996 didn't have a tutorial, period. I guess SNES StarFox is the biggest example otherwise.

Sovl. It had lots of graphical glitches. And then OoT came and I was baffled that here were no graphical glitches at all no matter how hard you try to create them.

People were smarter and more curious back then, they would naturally pick up the new three-pronged controller and want to try out all the controls so a courtyard with varying terrain height was all you needed. Kids today have no curiosity.
