Gwyn d'Sunlight a boss that forces you to choose a solid strategy. You can parry him, you can also go Iron Flesh/Flash Sweat and beat him down like you're the bigger boss in the room. The one thing you cant do is simply outplay Gwyn, so he goes from impossible to pushover by design

I didn't know of any tricks to beat him. Probably second hardest boss in the game with an even worse runback than Smough/Ornstein.
I didn't use summons and my build was an absolute mess.
I mainly managed to beat him by abusing a small elevation in his room which makes him miss some attacks.

Not quite that extreme but I almost despaired on Gaping but thought O&S were pretty easy to figure out
It was mostly due to nervously keeping a middle distance, which is a horrible matchup for Gaping and he just does the slam and
