As for me, it ate up all my spare money for the month — money that could’ve gone toward a bunch of AAA games, new clothes, or something actually useful.
I guess our last bit of copium is hoping they’ll announce AT LEAST a new Zelda, both 2D and 3D Mario, and Smash this year.

if you have a tight budget then I dunno why you'd buy a switch 2, it doesn't even have any games. Couldn't you have forseen that you were paying for basically nothing?

Most people who bought a switch 2 were people who are well-off enough to not even notice the pricetag, out of curiosity to see what the hardware was like.

Most sensible opinion. I own it cause I'm a video gametard who wants every console so I wouldn't say I regret it but I can see why many people do regret getting it unless inflation makes it go way up in price later on which is another reason why people rushed to buy it.

Otherwise, like any console launch, wait for more games to come out or be announced.

Switch 1 alone has so many exclusives it's unlikely you played them all. I had never played TOTK and now I am enjoying it a lot, together with Fast Fusion and MKW.

the switch 2 looks a little appealing but there isn't any games I care about on it yet

For me the buyer's remorse kicked in last weekend when I realized just how shallow MKW is for the price and how it's inherit design is a detriment to the fun. So I sold that shit. Now I have nothing to play until until Bananza, which I'm not even -THAT- excited about due to the dumd DK redesign and unappealing art style. I wanted mainline Mario.
The Switch 1 games running better is nice, but at this point it just feels like a Switch pro that released too late as opposed to a sequel console. The lack of a summer direct is very worrying
