I recently got back into FEH and damn this shit is retarded and makes you really appreciate how restrained other devs are on powercreep. However I am enjoying bullshitting through everything with LBK though.
Anyway a genuine no-strings answer is Arknights, the game is solidly built mechanically and has a ton of different gameplay modes.

There honestly always was. FFRK and Dragon Quest of the Stars are absolutely ancient now and have respectable gameplay.

Used to be into Guardian Tales a lot, but glacial main story updates after world 12 and the constant feature-creep had me stop playing over time
