World is very beautiful if your system can handle it

There's not much to explain, it's basically just a cutscene but you have to press a button to keep it going occasionally. I thought it was strange too, should have either been a lot shorter or had you actually controlling Carthy instead of just pressing one button.

The game occasionally has short QTE sections that are impossible to fail. Part of the reason is that people kept complaining about failing similar ones in the 1.0 patch, so Kuro dumbed them down significantly. Cartethyia's segment is probably the most egregious since it's the longest, but they're all pretty short overall. The one during the Black Shores storyline is very cool, at least. >>713574104
That is also true, yes. Not being able to get new units isn't too bad when (You) are usually one of the top tier characters. I also like how a lot of the later questlines give (You) a lot of voice lines. Helps the interactions with other characters.

wuwa is the closest a gacha has come to feeling like an actual game, but you have to play it just once every month for story content otherwise you fall into the gacha trap of spending to secure characters to fill out teams to do "endgame".
