It's something like that. Babies are polarizing to begin with. Baby princesses have women and perverts, Baby Mario has Yoshi's Island nostalgia, Baby Luigi is just kinda there on top of not being meta for any time trials.

What i’d propose is just adding more options to course selection. 3 intermissions, but also 3 regular tracks as well to choose from
Another solution I think could work is letting you run the full 3 laps on the course you’re driving to. Would let you race on the roads without sacrificing playing on the track itself. Plus with certain paths you can race alternate versions of the tracks like with shy guy bazaar’s alt. layout or wario stadium backwards.
