If the Deck 2 doesn't have hall effect or tmr sticks, everyone would be crashing out. Nintendo is allowed to get away with it though

they'll still replace them for free though

it's funny because they probably did the math and decided this is cheaper for them than just making them more durable from the get-go

Obviously. Probably only 1 in 5000 people send in their shitcons for repair, which is cheaper than all 5000 shitcons having better parts for maybe $3-5 a pop.

That's why I'm never buying 1st party controllers cause they've jipped me once and that's enough for me to never go back.

If they replace them for free, why can't they just add a deadzone adjustment option? It'd make the problem a lot less worse for sure.

>muh hall effects
You retards don’t even know what you’re talking about, do you? You simpletons have turned “hall effects” into some BS buzzword that means “no drift” without even knowing what hall effects sticks are.

Both joycon and dualshock drift can be fixed by contact cleaner at little to no time, cost, and effort.
Since both are caused by dirt, it's advisable to simply not live in filth.
Japanese design their peripherals for normal human beings. They probably can't fathom that it would be easier to convince pajeet to stop shitting in public than teach a mutt to keep their living space moderately tidy.

I once had my GameCube controller to repaired and the owner said it was the most disgusting thing he'd seen with a feather inside of it somehow and tons of gunk. That shit still fucking worked. I was just taking it in cause the stick felt loose. They don't make them like they used to

Drift is a dirt problem because the easy fix for the dirt problem was patented and console makers are cheap, especially if it makes you buy more shit.
But it doesn't surprise me that tendies got the dirtiest hands.
