Is the switch 2 ghosting really all that noticeable? I really want to get one, I love handheld gaming (but hate the framerate drops that come with the switch 1)

Some people complain about the ghosting, some say they don't notice it. Google tells me it's only 3ms slower than the launch steam deck? That can't be right.

I haven't noticed a single issue DF reported on. The screen is so much better than that of my launch Switch 1's it was never a question for me to consider it 'bad'.

Are you coping though? If it's an issue, you'd notice when playing a side scrolling game.

I'm pretty sensitive to issues with the screen, but I didn't notice anything when I saw my friend's switch 2.

I haven't seen anything wrong with the Switch 2's screen and I play rhythm games on it like Muse Dash or Taiko Tatsujin.
You have to bear in mind that nu-/v/ has its fair share of anti-Nintendo schizos desperate to find any flaw with the new console and spam threads for days.

I've not noticed it on the switch or switch 2. Maybe I'm stupid, but I have a PC that plays most anything at 1080p 120fps, so I feel like I've got a decent eye for that sort of thing. I'm sure they aren't lying about it, but I've never noticed any ghosting.

Nobody was talking about ghosting until the article was published so I'm gonna say no.

I saw some on reddit. That's mainly why it was brought to my attention, not the article(s)

I wouldn't care if it was just digital foundry or someone noticing it, but I just wanted to gauge whether most people really thought it was that bad.
I had a really bad ghosting tv a while back, so I don't want anything like that again lol.

When did someone giving a shit about technical mumbo jumbo like ghosting ever also care about Nintendo hardware? Stay I your lane and Bing Bing wahoo or wait for the Deck 2 if you want some magical sci fi hardware that can play GTA 6

The only thing I probably care too much about is a stable framerate, but ghosting is horrible once you've experienced it.
It turned everything to mush in motion.
