Only thing that is "problematic" about Duke 3D is that women are used as decoration. Duke's behavior towards women is never problematic at all. He has never done a single misogynist thing. He is polite to women, endangers his life to rescue them, gets angry when he finds out aliens use them for breeding, pays sex workers like a gentleman before enjoying their shaking breasts, and all of his sexual partners are always fully consenting.

Yes, but it was very male-centric, and believe it or not, that's a problem among the elite involved in modern entertainment culture. It would be more or less the equivalent of “Two and a Half Men,” that TV show. Yeah, it's kind of bad, but the same can be said of pretty much any American sitcom. “Two and a Half Men” isn't particularly terrible when compared to all the others, but it's extremely frowned upon simply because it's the point of view of men who think that having sex with lots of women is cool.
