The quests and zones are good and what little raid content there was is also pretty good.
It’s just blatantly unfinished and many of the promised features like garrisons were completely gutted prior to launch. People didn’t exaggerate when they say very quickly you find yourself with fucking nothing to do but passively farm gold AFKing in your garrison.

well hybrid DPS aren't supposed to do as much DPS as the pures but in vanilla they couldn't get the balance quite right and instead of doing a bit less than pure DPS they do way less than they're supposed to (they even had trouble with this in TBC I think, with ret pallies not doing any damage either but they fixed most of the classes by that point, at least)

It's fine if you play a warrior, or to a lesser extent rogue. But all other classes have extremely lacking gameplay in group content and many specs aren't brought at all because they're completely useless.

It's going to be terrible. Not sure whats in the air, but as someone who has played classic on and off since 2019, the classic population is full of turbo jerks for the last two months. SOD is dead, classic 20th is waiting for TBC, retail is in its mid expac lull, so all the brain dead tards, summer kids and other "i saw a streamer do this" flotsam is floating in.
It's funny, because the game really is retail-lite, and we're getting another good example of why they made the changes they did.

Nobody does because Classic/TBC seal system doesn't encourage casting one seal after the other. It was, however, originally discovered in TBC back in 2006 (specifically on the Horde side as they had two good seals for twisting, Casino and Blood)

You don't swap to crusader from Righteousness. You do it the other way around and you do it on the pull so that you have your seal up when you're in melee range. It is never intuitive to swap seals as your melee attack is approaching

TBC Casual guild: takes 3 days to run SSC/TK, can't kill last bosses, can't defeat M'uru and Kil'Jaeden, 100 wipes on Twins
WotLK casual guild: half-done Ulduar, ICC 6HC clear after three weeks, HLK clear after 2-3 months and 25% nerf
Cata casual guild: can't clear T11 HC, can't clear T12 7HC (even with 30% nerf), stuck in T13 4HC for months until heavy nerfs come, then full HC clear at 25% nerf.
MoP Casual guild: disband at last bosses, can't kill normal mode.
Cuz the bosses are harder than in T13.

I started wod after its final content patch/before legion pre-patch and it was fine. Exploration felt meaningful, garrison was there to just run in the background as you played the game, dungeons and raids were okay, too. It felt much more engaging than BfA or SL.
